Who we were…
as told to us by the many who stop to reminisce their time and history with this magical piece of earth.
1930-1970
This home was built as a dairy farm by a gentleman farmer with a lovely french bride. He promised to build her a home like the one she had in France if she would relocate to Oklahoma with him. The Dairy had many acres and cattle that is now the wonderful neighborhood of Forest Park. The dairy serviced the whole east side of Oklahoma City along with the monastery bakery right down the road that has been converted into a charming b&b.
2010- Present - The Great Renovation
It takes no time for a homestead to fall into disrepair and it can take years to reclaim the lost time. This is the ongoing story we continue to write and tell. With immense gratitude to be able to be apart of such a great tale in such a great place.
1970-2010
This was the home of a prominent psychiatrist in Oklahoma who made huge strides in creating the integrated community that we are living in today. He was also the master gardener behind the 14 varieties of bamboo, the forests and the rare trees on the property. If you look closely you will find foot prints of his peacock flock around the property. We were told they took up residence at the zoo after he left and their heirs are still there free roaming today.
